Faith Formation at Saint Ann Parish

At Saint Ann's we are committed to "...transmitting the Gospel, as the Christian community has received it, understands it, celebrates it, lives it, and communicates it in many ways." (General Directory of Catechesis #105)

In order to do this, we as a total parish community must participate in church life together as we nurture the faith of all ages. By helping each other on our faith journey, we foster a living environment for the growth in faith of all generations.

Our goals therefore mirror the Church ...

"... to encourage a living, explicit and fruitful profession of faith." (GDC#66)
"... to put people not only in touch, but also in communion and intimacy, with Jesus Christ." (GDC#80)

Toward that end, we offer the following programs in our parish:

Sacrament Preparation for Baptism, Confirmation, First Eucharist, First Reconciliation and Marriage
Christian Initiation of Adults who want to learn more about the Catholic Faith
Faith Formation for all students K-10 not attending a Catholic school
Adult Faith Formation Learning Opportunities to enliven your faith
Youth Ministry to build disciples and form leaders for tomorrow
Parish Library materials to enrich your faith

Check Calendars for times and dates of all programs.

Adult Faith Formation

Teaching Tuesdays for Adults

Saint Francis de Sales referred to Education as the Eighth Sacrament of the Catholic Church. He felt strongly about his role as teacher and educator of the faithful in his care.

In that same Spirit, Saint Ann Parish is committed to the continued education of its adult parishioners. Classes on topics of the Catholic Faith will be offered each Tuesday at 9:30 am and at 6:30 pm. Each class will be about an hour long.

Teaching Tuesday times and topics are published each week in the bulletin.
